OBSERVENCE OF SHAHEED DIVAS IN MEWAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT

Shaheed Divas in the memory of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev was observed in Mewar Institute of Management on 23rd March, 2021. The families of two martyrs were also honoured on the occasion. The Hon'ble Chairman, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya addressed the students and asked them to make these martyrs the real heroes as their role models. He further said that the country is of 75 cr. youth. They should come forward and work for the welfare of the society and for the progress of our motherland to bring her on the forefront in the world. He motivated the students to pay heed towards their responsibilities rather than on their rights. He reminded them that the youth is the powerhouse and undoubtedly has immense talent. Dr. Gadiya expressed his concern for the country and its progress and the role of the youth through his poem. Mr. Aditya Ghildiyal from the family of Shaheed Major Anurag Nauriyal and Mrs. Rajviro Devi the wife of Shaheed Subedar Jai Singh were honoured and were presented shawls, mementos and cash. The stories of their valour and martyrdom was shared with the students Mr. Aditya and Mr. Govind Chaudhary addressed the students and emphasized on the service of the society. The students paid their homage to the martyrs through a cultural program comprising of speeches, poems, patriotic songs and skit etc. The Director Dr. Alka Agarwal and all the faculty members across all the departments were present on the occasion.
